THE DIRECTOR
Danielle Areco
Danielle is from Brazil and has been teaching and performing in the United States for over 4 years now. She is also an actress, model, singer, musician, and choreographer. She combines all these skills in her events so that each event is unique and tailored to your tastes and budget.

Her ballroom career started in Dallas, TX at the Strictly Ballroom, and then on to the Ballroom of the Preston Center, and finally in Plano at The IDANCE2. In her native Brazil, Danielle has performed in numerous television and theatre productions, as well as in International trade shows.

As a Ballroom and Latin Dancer she attended many NDCA competitions (PRO/AM and Professional American Rhythm Division) show-casing high quality technique, professionalism and charisma.

Danielle is certified in more then 12 different types of dance including, Ballet, Jazz, Modern, Hip Hop, Street Dance, Belly Dance, Ballroom and Latin Dances. She has a Theater Arts bachelor degree, and is a well-versed lecturer on the history of diverse cultural dances, making her classes always interesting.

Today as the Brazil Latino Entertainment Artistic Director, she dedicates herself to Latin dances including Salsa, along with a strong influence from Africa, Cuba and Brazilian Samba. She also showcases her dance performances in the Washington DC area.

Her mission is to provide unique, high-quality artistic entertainment and instruction. s She teaches regular classes at the Chevy Chase Ballroom and has taught on location at other venues such as NASA, Naval Research Laboratory, The National Zoo, Universities, Television, and more. Each of her classes showcases the fun, folklore, and flavor of cultural dances.

This year Danielle was chosen to choreograph the dinner award Showcase promoted by ISES (International Special Events Society) and is launching a Promotional DVD by Brazil Latino Events.
